This is an opt-out claim on behalf of UK based app developers at the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal, to obtain damages for losses caused by Google.

If you are a UK domiciled third-party app developer and received revenue from the sale of your app via the Play Store, or from transactions within your app from August 2018 then you could benefit from this claim against Google.

The ‘opt-out’ procedure is often used in class actions. In this case, it simply means that you are automatically included in this claim if you are an affected app developer, unless you state you’d prefer not to be involved, and opt-out.
