Professor Rodger has secured a settlement of £260m on behalf of UK app developers

The proposed settlement remains subject to approval by the UK’s Competition Appeal Tribunal and will be considered at a hearing on 15 September 2026. If approved by the Competition Appeal Tribunal, eligible Class Members will be compensated for the harm Professor Rodger alleges they have suffered as a result of the commission Google charged on in-app and Play Store transactions.
